Already married to US citizen and want to visit her on a B2 visa

Hey guys,
I really need some information about something. I'm already married to a US citizen and I'm from India. She is back in the states and I want to visit her on a B2 visa. The reason behind this is that the processing time of a CR1 visa is lengthy and I really want to spend the holidays with her in US.
Would it raise red flags with the immigration department if I apply for a B2 visa and tell them the reason of my travel is to spend time with my wife during the holidays. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

It is highly unlikely that you will be issued a B2 visa as you are already married to a US citizen and are considered someone that is going to immigrate in their eyes. It is best to apply for the appropriate visa type and endure the wait, as it will be monies wasted applying for a B2 visa as it not likely to be issued.
