Hi Everyone,
I think I have a different case than everyone else here or maybe I just did not find any thread about it yet. I moved as a K1 visa holder to the US along with my two children (K2), and got married to my longtime girlfriend. However, my children did not live with us and rather stayed with their Mom who is also a US citizen and in a different state. Now, we are being summoned for the interview for the I-485 application. I do not know what will happen when I tell the interviewer that my children do not live with me and my wife who petitioned them. Is there someone out there with the same case as mine? How did it go? Am I in trouble for doing this? Will my children's application get denied?
I would like to thank everyone in advance. Appreciate all the help and advice.
