Hi, I am a citizen of the Bahamas. My fiance is a citizen of the USA. We plan to be married durring the latter part of this year and we do have concerns about my visa. You see, in the past my fiance has been unable to work and was going through a divorce and was as a result, unable to maintain paying his taxes. He, at present is employed and has every intention of keeping his taxes up to date. I myself am employed in my country. I am a registered nurse and part-time journalist. I have emailed a few hospitals in his area and I have recieved positive reponses.
My fiance told me that there was mention of taxes on the visa application form and that if my visa was denied we would have to wait for 7 years before we would be allowed to reapply. We would like to know if my fiance's past tax history will prevent me from being granted a fiance visa should we apply for one.
    Thank you for your assistance.

i think they want a Affidavit for support documents from US Citizen...and past federal Tax return form 1040...,and if she dont have this she can use co-sponsor...this is also acceptable in embassy...
