  • Do I need to send G-325A with I-129F?

I've been researching and getting mixed messages on this one. Do I need to send the G-325A forms when we file with I-129F form? The official site does not seem to mention the form in but various 3rd parties have said the form is required. Some of the sources are from 2014/15 so perhaps they have changed it?

    Chil,

Separate G-325A forms for both petitioner and applicant should be submitted with form I-129F.

If you are using the latest edition (04/10/17) of the I-129F, you do not need G-325As. The information is already asked on the I-129F.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Thx, I missed that. So the G-325A is no longer an ingredient until one does the Adjustment of Status.

          G325A with I129F

If you look at the checklist that they give you for I 129f it is on there

The checklist predates the revised I-129F by 10 months. Since most of the information captured on the new I-129F includes data requested on the G-325A, there is a good argument for the I-129F to have no need for the G-325A form.

G-325A is listed on the official checklist.

Whether the checklist is older than the current I-129F form doesn't matter, the current checklist that is listed on the USCIS website states a G-325A is required from both you the petitioner and your fiancee, beneficiary.

(here is a perk, you can have your fiancee complete her G-325A and email it to you, USCIS will accept it)

Use this form to petition to bring your fiancé(e) (K-1) and their children (K-2) to the U.S. so you may marry your fiancé(e), or to bring your spouse (K-3) and their children (K-4) to the U.S. to apply for lawful permanent resident status.
