Hi guys I was wondering if you could help to answer a few questions for me please. I met a man who resides overseas & we are supposed to meet up for 2 weeks in Europe. He is from Asia. We have been in touch for 5 months via Viber. I was wondering how this scenario might unfold just in case if I like him: Im a US citizen & in case I like him a lot and decide to marry him, is it easier to go through the process by sending him a fiancee visa from the US some point later on after my return back home to the US and get him here to marry or marry him overseas then file a petition from home (the US) later on when I come back from my travel to bring him here that way? Which is less costly & faster for me specifically?
Another important question: We are adversaries ethnically as both of our origin countries are at war so we are going to meet up in a 3rd country instead. Doesn't matter that Im a US citizen, my last name on my US passport won't get me inside his country lol, so I wanted to know whether a 3rd country marriage (in case we get hitched somewhere) be counted by the USCIS or the marriage must take place in his country specifically if I am marrying him overseas? I mean where would he go for the consulate procedure then after marriage to come here? Would it be his home country where he lives or that 3rd country where we marry supposedly? If we marry in 3rd country, would he have to travel from his home country to that 3rd country of our vacation for consular procedure or he can do that in his home country regardless where we marry in Europe where we plan on going to?
I'm not planning to marry him since we haven't met but would want to get an idea how it works in case as life happens. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Let's assume that I really want him, which way would be the fastest and the best way to go about this whether it's financia, time-wise, procedural-wise, etc.?
