I am a US citizen. My fiancee is in India and I was wondering what the current approval times are for a K1 visa approval. One of the attorneys I spoke with said that he is seeing visa approval time of 1 year! We are Muslims, I don't know if that complicates the approval process. Any suggestions for a faster approval process?
