Time taken to Process I-129F form

I want to apply for I-129F form for K1 visa application. Do i need an Attorney to File that form in USCIS and how much time is being taken to process the same .

no attorney is required. You can self file and most people will do that. The processing time for the I-129F is roughly 6-8 months. While the DOS takes another 2-3 months before the visa is issued
