How good does my Credit have to be ?

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you in advance, I have been Studying what I need to Bring my Girl Friend Back here from the PI. and I see that it states that I need to prove that I have handled my Finances responsiblly. Well although I am working on my credit, It is still not very good (YET).
SO...
My question is , does anyone know for sure how good my credit needs to be in order to prove that I can support Myself, and My Lady.
Also, as a side note , does anyone know if it helps that My GF speaks excellent English and has already been offered a job by my employer as soon as she shows up?

Yes thats really very good..., Well you will have to show your 1040 tax return from of latest years.., and the notarized letter from your job stating how long you been working with them and what is your annual income and your position at work..,if your annual income is 25,000$ you are eligible...this is good to show the letter from your bank showing the ammount you have in banks...,if you dont make that much income than you will need co-sponsor..,

Thank You so much for the Information Ars. And it definately helps to know where i stand.
And I guess the next question is , what are the chances of finding a Co-Sponcer? , My Family Is ...Well let's just say that is not an option, In this case where would I go to find a Co- Sponcer?
And i guess now that i think of it i have a few more questions as well.
How much of the Visa process is it possible to get done before going over for the first time?
Is it absolutely necessary to get a Lawyer for this , Or can I just get the forms on-line and follow them closely?
Also , as for going to Manila,I have been reading online that it can be dangerous to travel, and I am planning on going alone (with the exception of my GF) And I was wondering if you know if this is true, Or If I will be ok , Not to try to sound like an egotist, but i am a pretty big guy, and I guess I have some kind of look or something , because most people do not usually give me any problems, or even aproach me unless i approach them first ( kinda lonely, but comes in handy some times ..)

Manila is a great place. I was there in February. The key is to be with somone local that you know (..your GF and if possible have a car and a driver).

The folks in PI are very nice ! I had a wonderful time! Make sure your GF tells you about the Manila airport, it's an interesting situation .....
