  • K1 and I-134 HELP PLEASE!

I'm a full-time student and my fiance and I have already been approved for the K-1 visa. The problem is, I have to submit an I-134 for my fiance before his interview. There are just a few questions I would like to know.

    1 - I don't have a job, because I'm a full-time student and I live with my parents. What do I need to submit, if I don't have a job?

2 - Can my parents be joint sponsors with me and if so, how do I fill out that form?

3 - Where do I send the I-134? To the Embassy or to my fiance?

If anyone can help me in answering these questions or can direct me somewhere I can get the answers I need, I would really appreciate it.

I am not absolutely certain on this....but you will fill out your I134, if you don't have any income or tax returns then you don't....your parents can be the sponsers i'm pretty sure....or at least one of them can. And in that case they just fill out a separate I34 form. And I am pretty sure that you'll send it to your fiance to bring with him to the interview.

I submitted with my K1 approved petition a notarizied I-864 form along with my employer's letter, copies of my tax returns for the last three years and last year's W2. Do I still need to submitt a complete a I 134 to the US Consulate in Moscow? My approved K1 petition is currently in NVC being process to be sent to Moscow.

the I864 does not come in until later...when your trying to adjust status after you are married. You need to do the I134...and don't send it to the us consulate in moscow...send it directly to you fiance and he/she will take it to the interview with them.
Do send her all the extras you were talking about...employer's letter ect. to bring to the interview
        Good luck!!

I already made copies of my employer's letter, my tax returns for the last three years and my W2's and left them with my Victoria when I saw her about one month in Saint Petersburg THanks for the input. I appreciated. I will send a notarizied I 134 to my fiancee Victoria so she can take it to the interview.
