  • K1 at Texas, can anybody enlighten us?

    Hi,
Have been reading through the threads, desperately trying to get a more
accurate idea of the timelines of processing a K1.
My fiance ( US ) and myself ( UK ), have been quoted so many different
time scales, and having checked the USCIS site, Im still none the wiser, as to what we can expect..
Just wondering if anybody on here has recently dealt with Texas / London, and if so, what was the time scale?

Sorry to probably be asking a question that has been asked a million times, and is like asking 'how long is a piece of string?' but Im sure many of you
    understand.

We have provided Texas with everything they have asked, and have everything ready for my London bit, but have been told various time scales,
differing between 60 days and a year??

Still to hear from Texas, as only just sent off the paperwork, but any feedback would be much appreciated..

Many Thanks and all the best to all of you x

When did you send your petition to Texas? Right now they are not processing the k1 visas so your petition will be sent to the california service center....they say 90-180 days. With how slow they are processing it's probably going to be closer to the 180 days.
And that's just the approval from the service center. Now with the interview and all that i am not sure how long that's going to take
I seriously would be setting yourself up for something more close to a year....from the time you sent out the papers to the time your fiance is with you. It will definitely be taking longer than 60 days.
But it will all be worth it in the end!!
    Good luck

also i would go to ***********.com you can create a membership there...and there are posts just like on this site....but after creating a membership you can enter in your timeline and it will give you an approximate approval date.
