Im From The Philippines But Ive Been Here In Korea For A Year And A Half(illegaly)....i Got Married Just Recently To An American,he's In The Army And He Is Leaving So Soon...we Already Filed Form I-130 And Planning To Wait In The Philippines But I Know It Will Take Forever...thats Why I Wanna Know If Its Possible For Me To Get A Tourist Visa From Here And Then Go To The Philippines Then From The Philippines To The States And In The States File For Adjustment Of Status.....will That Work?????

K1 Visa

Hi

I think you need to apply for a K1 Visa in order to get here to the US.. Then when you arrived here in US.. you will need to get married legally within the 90 days of arrival and then apply for your change of status to permanent resident..There is no short cut and they do not allow you to travel on visitation visa while K1 Visa is in process.. If you travel to US on visitation visa, you still need to go back to Phillipine and then travel to US on K1 Visa.

I think you should go to the US Embassy there in Korea and get your advice.
