I'm an American citizen who traveled to the Philippines to marry my fiancee a short time ago. I feel that some of the questions on the first round of Visa papers could be clearer. Take for instance the question on the fourth line of form G-325A which simply reads, "Husband or Wife." As I understand it, my wife should be referring to me, her husband, on that line and I should be referring to her. However, when I called the USCIS's help line for an answer, someone actually told me it was the other way around. Wrong information, especially when given from Immigration itself, only adds to the uncertainty. I'm telling my wife to underline the word 'husband' and put my last name in that box and I'll underline 'wife' and place her new last name in that space. Since at least 3 other "experts" on the Immigration help line have said so it must be true.
