Hi,
I have recived my approval letter for K1 visa last week. What happens next and how lond does it take to process? Can someone give me the most recent timeline. My fiance is in Pakistan.

congratulations,well now the NVC "national visa center" is dealing with ur case before they will send it to your the US consulate that is situated in ur fiance s country.and then your fiance will recieve a mail from the US consulate telling him about the day of the interview,the papperwork to bring and the doctor s appointments.
as for the period such a process will take,,,i don t have a precise one but i can tell you that the whole operation will take the maximum of 9 weeks.

Sania, When did you file and which service center was handling your case. I just recieved a notice that my case has been transferred to CSC. and per the uscis website, It states that they are handling cases from July 17, 2006. Does that mean that it will take another 6months at least before approval?
