hi iam abdullah from india , my fiance is from usa . we applied for k1 from a attoreny in usa and i went to a very hard interrogation in chennai consualate . i dont know why? first they asked me some quiestion at counter 11 then they told me wait . next they took me in a closed cabin and disrespected my love for her and gave me really really hard time . i left that cabin with tears in my eyes . any how the consulate officer gave my passport in hands and i knew that i was crying even at that poing in front of everyone . they told me to wait and since from 11 april till this date iam waiting . i called the lawer he said i wil get my visa before december 2006 .i called consulate they said they will contact me .. my fiance is really hard worker she worker really hard to pay to lawer and consulate . they gave me 221 G reason in a blue reason sheet they kept my whole file and they dint not rejected me . iam muslim and she is christian we have a age difference of 14 years but these things never came between our love . we miss each other . the conulate officer told me - we have an advice for u . kindly get married here in india ... she will be comming here in this december . will some one advice me what to do ?

Hello,

Even if you do marry in India as she is coming here then also you'd require a K-3 visa or an immigrant visa to go to the US and that process will also take 6 months to a year. Ask the Consular officer as to what is the issue with your case and as you are waiting u/s 221(g) please ask what was the document you did not carry at your Consular interview in India.
