Urgent- Plz Helop On K-1 Visa Medical Exam Question

Hello,
I'm in United States & My fiance visa petition has been approved & my fiance has already received his packet 3 & 4 from US consulate from the New Delhi, Embassy (INDIA)

Today when he got his medical examination done - the doctor told him that he has a spot showing up in his x-ray due to his smoking habbit in his lungs & he has High Blood pressure as well.

My question: will these symptons will effect him in getting a visa or is he will be DENY for visa due to his SMoking habbit.

Please reply back if possible & be advice what should we do as he has his interview date in the first weekof October 06.

Please someone reply me back on this matter & be advised as I am really tensed.
