Getting married .. please help me solve

Hi,

I am presently on F1 student visa. I am marrying in march 2007. My
fiancee wants to work in US after marriage. So I want to apply for H1
visa for my fiancee in april 2007.

Can I simultanously apply for F2 visa in may 2007 so that she can come
to US before hand because H1 visa comes into effect from oct 2007 and
also there is more risk in gettting a H1 Visa than F2 Visa ?

can I apply for H1 when she is in India and bring her to USA on F2
Visa and later change from F2 to H1 once she is here. Are there any procedures for status change in Oct ?

Hello,

When is your F-1 status expiring?If you go out of status, then she wil also lose her F-2 status. It is betteryou consult a lawyer before moving on, things may get tricky in these changes in status.
