Okay, so I talked briefly to an immigration attorney and explained the problem of me being pregnant and due in March and trying to get my English fiancee to the U.S. by then. He said that he could help me bring him over before March, no problem, and that he could apply for a work permit as soon as he is in the U.S. He also said that my fiance wouldn't have to return to England for the medical visit and interview, that he could do it in the U.S. Has anyone else heard of this or am I being sent a bunch of c***? If it's true and oculd happen, then whoo hoo, but I am wary.

He was going to come over on the fiancee visa. Would it be better for him to come over on the visa waiver program and get married then?Comment

But the cleanest route would be the K-1 visa. You need to file the K-1 petition on his behalf and it may take you 6-8 months to get him in the US.Comment
