  • K1 Interview Question - Engagement Proof & Wedding Plans

I have a couple questions regarding the inteview questions that are supposed to be asked during the interview of the K1 fiance visa.

    1. What evidence is requiered to demonstrate a valid engagement. The customs might differe greatly and I am a little bit confused about what is considered to be valid evidence during the interview, meaning what proof of a valid engagement has to be demonstrated (e.g. Formal announcements, informal announcements, pictures, ring receipt, how much should the ring have cost, etc.)?

    2. The sample interview questions at this website indicate that questions regarding wedding plans might be asked. What if we want to get married in court first and have a wedding celebration later. Will this be accepted? Do we have to show that we have planned a big wedding ceremony?

Any help and experience would be appreciated. Thank you.

the evidences tat u need are dated photographs ( together with ur fiancee ),when u visited her/him ur airline ticket, ur passport shows the stamp of visiting tat country or place where he/she lives, any credit card statement u used there for shopping or for any reasons during ur engagement time.
i dont think wedding plans question would affect much. as far as im concern im planning a wedding in court too so my finacee will just say tat we r going to get married in court as soon he gets to usa tat ll b all i think.
