My friend who lives here just got married this year to her husband who lives in Egypt. He applied for his visa to come here to the US but there are so many delays. If there is anyone who's able to explain the visa process to me so that I can in turn explain it to my girlfriend please help, Thanxs.

If its this year, why do you say there are delays?..........it has not yet been a year...........thats not unreasonable..in fact its quite standard. Also because its Egypt, I would suspect that the background check might mak eit a little longer than som eother countries..

Perhaps if you explain more where ijn the process they are, it might be eaiser to explain whats the next step..
