HI,

My fiancee is in the united states and my k1 interview is scheduled for this feb 21st in Chennai. she came here and met me last april and our engagement was a private ceremony.ofcource we made a formal announcement to our close friends and families.we didn't had an engagement party or anything and neither do we have any photographs of the engagement ceremony since noone attended it.we do have photographs of us together and all other proofs like phone bills, emails, letters etc. what should we do bout the proof of valid engagement thing? is this gonna be a problem for me at the interview? any possible solutions? we are going to have an engagement party and formal announcement in the us before getting married.

Dont Worry About Providing Proof Of Engagement, Whats More Impportant Is That You Can Submit Proof That You Met Each Other, Like Photos Together, Phone Bills And Emails Or Letters, I Would Also Recommend That Both Of You Write A Letter Stating Your Commitment To Marry Each Other Within 90 Days Of Your Fiancee Arrival

Thanks steve, so i guess i was just being a typical nervous one who is awaiting his interview. lol . thanks for you answer since it made things a lil more clear for me.i have about 25 more days to go if anyone who is reading this has something to share with me pls do so it'll be a help for sure. :-)
