Hi,
I have a question. I'm asking for my fiancees, her fiancees # is HNK2006764020, a Filipino that lives in Hong Kong. She was contacted by mail and was told she has an appointment for the interview next month for her visa. She has done all that is requested, but her mothers birth certificate is misspelled. They had hand written it in due to no PCs back then and a lot of mistakes were made. She contacted the Philippines and they said it could take 3 months because to change a birth certificate, it has to go through the courts. My questions is can she still use the birth certificate or does she still need to get it changed? Or is there a way to prove it is her mother instead of waiting 3 months to get it changed.
Thanks so much!!!!
