    Need help!!!
    here is my situation. my wife, was fiancee, enter the US by K-1 visa then we got married before the 90 days. we just recently summited the AOS, and on the same day(02-20-07)that we send the AOS application, my wife when to the DMV to apply for a California ID. However, her I-94/visa had expired, 02-14-07, DMV personnel told her to go get an extension. my question are:
    1. where do i go to get an extension, or what should i do now?

    We've been through this ourselves. Now the 90 days have expired, and you have already filed the I-485 to adjust status, you will need to get an Employment Authorization Document. (You can apply on the USCIS website using credit card to pay the fee). If she hasn't received it within 90 days you can go again on the website and made a INFOPass appointment to speak with an Immigration officer in your local District Office. They will then send you for biometrics if you haven't already done so and usually give you a temporary EAD on the spot at no charge. Then the regular EAD, good for a year should come shortly thereafter.
    With the EAD, she can get a California ID but in fact, it's not necessary anymore since the EAD serves as valid ID for most purposes.
