Getting Married...now what?

Hello,

Well, my fiance was approved for his K1, and he is now here in the U.S.
We're getting married next week, and I was wondering where do we start as far as getting his work permit and adjusting his status.
Anyone have any ideas because it all seems really confusing.

After getting married...

Hi, I have the same case as yours. After getting married,
1. make sure to apply for you marriage certificate. It will take for 2-4 weeks. Once you receive it,
2. That would be the time you can apply for AOS (I485). But make sure that all the requirements are complete esp the medical/vaccination part. Please check the requirements carefully.
3. After submitting the I-485, they will send you a receive notice and they will call the applicant for biometrics( finger printing, etc)
--- You may send the EAD application but make sure to include the received notice of AOS (photocopy).
