My k1 fince visa just got denied last week in Chennai. They gave me a blue letter asking me to submit more proof of our relationship via the VFS. I took all the letters, emails, cards,phone bills, etc with me to the interview and they didn't even took a look at any of them. Now they are asking to send all those proof via VFS. WHat does this mean? The letter says that i was denied under the section 221g and tells me to submit more proof to overcome this and to complete the processing of my application.we have like 14 years of difference between us with she being the elder. Is this a reason for the denial? Is it possible still to get the visa after initial 221g? Our relationship is 2 years old and we have all the emails and letter we sent during these period.and phone call details. And all the recepts of the money she sent me, hotel bills with both mine and her name on it. And photographs of us together which we submitted with application. Pls give some suggestions or share your experiences.

I am really surprised with your case. My fiancee got denied after 2 interviews and now they are sending it back to USCIS. I have had multiple marriages before and they do not tell us clearly that but they use our unusual circumstances to deny visa and harass us this way so we drop the case. My case has cost me a lot of financial loss as well as aggravation. When they invited my fiancee second time, there was not fixed appointment. She was told to come any day at 8 am. Then they did not allow her to enter based on email letter they had sent us. Finally she got hold of some agent outside and she helped her get in. But now they started interviewing again. Their whole goal was to deny visa no matter what you have. I have decent income and asset and would not risk to marry someone for fraud as I would be the loser.
I think, they use their power to deny unusual case, just because they can.
But I think your case is more promising. If they asked for more papers, please submit all proof and keep a copy of it so that you can challenge them in future if they deny.
In my case, I have pleaded and shown them all my asset, my special circumstances but they have no heart. I have shown them that the person I married from India before and divorced has never been issued a green card and she did not even want green card. A person with H1 visa can bring the spouse so easily where as we, as US citizen, have to go through this type of hassle. This is one way to slow down immigration or punish you for 9/11.
The current atmosphere of anti-immigration sentiment has prompted each govt employee to take on themselves to be vigilante.
The stress is so much for me to handle that I was hospitalized recently and even though I have ticket to go to India, I may have to cancel for health reason. The Consulate people do not even think twice before destroying legitimate peoples lives. Our phone bill is going *****nomically high together with stress.
I sincerely wish you good luck. I have good asset in this country. But I may move out of another socialist country if I can after this is over. If India was little more hygienic and safer from terrorism, I would have moved back to India.
I am absolutely dissatisfied with this govt whether democrat or republicans. I feel like I have been treated like a second class citizen.

offcourse this is possible to receive the visa 221(g) is not a actual denial this is just a temporary denial if they are satisfied with proves they will issue visa but hang on there this might take some timeComment
