police certificates

hello to everyone

is anyone from delhi or karnataka
i wanted a bit info bout the police certificates from these places
...but does any1 kno abt the police cert frm passport office???is it needed???my passport is 5 yrs old and issued frm bangalore passport office,
but presently my permanent home address is in delhi, india

pls do advice if anyone can help me out,

From my understanding, since your passport is older than 6 months old you will need to get PCC from the Passport office in Delhi PLUS you will have to get a police clearance certificate from everyplace you have lived for more than 6 months since you were 16. It's a pain in the butt for sure. Hubby is having to get one from Mumbai and Delhi.
