documents before receiving packet 3

Hi! I have yet to receive the packet 3 from the US embassy here in the Philippines, i have no clue if i should ask my fiance now to send all the copy of the documents including our i-129F application? i read a couple page from this site i should have the completed ducuments submitted to the USCIS with me on the interview? i dont have prob with the pics, emails, cards etc i have them.

im clueless, any help?

thanks for replying again to my post. ok, sorry im kinda confused.lol.

so once i received the packet 3 from the embassy, it tells me what documents i need to obtain before interview and medical exam? bc i meant if i need my fiance now to send me the copy of completed documents (application for i-129f) he submitted to the USCIS. in the consular processing page of this site, it says that i need to present those documents in my interview.

hey thanks! that helps and congratulations to you and ur wife! i already talk to my fiance and we'll be working on the papers we need.

by the way, i read again in this site about receiving the packeft 3 and mentioned there about obtaining the DS-230? says should be returned for each applicant, do we need that too? man i have alot of questions hehe.

hey again! lol your quick thanks...

i still have questions jeez lol...

1. my fiance will provide the affidavit of support i-134 & wont have to send it to embassy right? he'll just need it to be notarized and send to me direct to bring with me in my interview? how many copies do we need? it says 2 in this site.

2. my in-laws will be providing financial assistance to our wedding. can they also be a co-sponsor in support to my fiance's financial status?

3. will the consular officer read the mailed letters/card and emails during the interview? are they gonna ask me to leave it with them?

4. the consular officer will get my passport during interview and will be sent back to me with my visa?

5. medical exam result - it says on the actual packet 3 u that u sent me that i have to bring the result with me on my interview. kinda confused me when it says on the packet under medical examination that the result will be delivered directly to the embassy. how's that? am i getting a copy of it and st.lukes will also send copy to the embassy? also, 10 required vaccination at a time? omg i hate injections :-S how did ur wife took 10 vaccines at the same time.. oh man

5. interview/appointment date - packet 3 doesn't contain the confirmed schedule for interview? will they send me an appontment letter after that? what is the Applicant Statement and checklist mentioned in this site that i need to return to the embassy so i will be scheduled for the interview? i didn't see it in the link (packet 3)that u sent me. gosh it says the consulate schedules interview 2-4 months? have to wait that long?

7. I will submit ALL the required documents mentioned in the packet 3 to the consular officer during my interview (meaning i'm leaving those documents)? Or have to do that before my interview?

hi again & thanks for the patient replies!lol. u skipped my question#2 though lol. i tried to edit it before u replied perhaps it wasnt updated when u post ur reply.

ok, i'll ask again hehe..

1. can my in-laws be a co-sponsor in support to my fiance's financial status? they will be helping us on our wedding and offered to stay with them until we get married.

2. do they keep the letters/cards and emails with them? can i just show them photocopies instead? lol i dont want to leave the letters and cards with them yeah might also be embarrased the way the other girls were lol.

3. so my medical exam and interview date will be found in packet 3? say yes pls to confirm lol. i was confused about the packet 4 that is mentioned in this site heres the link https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visas/k...e-process.html pls read step 3.

4. was the doctor a female doctors for girls applicant? i definitely want a female doctor lol. how long it took your wife to finish the medical exam? and hey im not worried about being BAKLA lol im not haha!

im worried for when i will receive packet 3, our i-129F approval is expired by then. it will expire on july 6. say after 2 months from NVC notice dated 19/May i get the packet 3, that would be in late may. then 5 more weeks for the interview right? ugh we need send request for 4-mos extention of our approval :-s

nah my fiance is working and his parents are very supportive of us & wanna make sure we'll qualify.

wheew good we're just waiting for packet 3 then.

wow didn't know they give automatic extension. they say we need to send letter to embassy to extend our approval, this site provided that info lol. anyways, thanks for telling me i was worried about it.
