Financial sponsor??

Hi, I'm a US citizen and have applied for the k1 fiance visa on behalf of my Ethiopian fiance and am now waiting for approval. I have two questions that I'd really love to hear any feedback on.

1. Does anyone know how long the California Service Center generally takes for approving k1s?

2. For the proof of sponsor's financial support (i-134), is it possible for my dad to act as the sponsor? I'm a poor college student and intend to live with my parents for a while longer. Will they accept my dad's financial info instead of mine?

HI,
Lately CSC has been very fast, there are some case aproved in 60 days other get more time because informations and wrong papers. About Affidavit your dad can be your co sponsor.

I-129F
12/02/2006 We sent I-129F
12/06/2006 they received it
12/11/2006 NOA1
12/15/2006 they moved our process to CSC
12/18/2006 CSC received it
02/01/2007 Aproved
03/23/2007 Today we received the packet4 from Rio consulate
04/11/2007 Medical exame completed
04/17/2007 visa tax payed ($100)

04/24/2007 interview date

04/24/2007 visa aproved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
