  • what are my chances?....really

Ok well here is the situation. Crazy as it is..here it goes...ok i met my fiance on the net almost 10 months ago. I have applied for a k-1 visa. We talk on the phone and video chats all the time...problem.....we havent met. Reason being is he is from saudi arabia. They dont allow visitor visas at all and there was actually a travel advisory posted by the department of state advising not to go unless you have to because its dangerous for americans there.....especially women. Well he could come here on a visitors visa but we are definately going to get married with out a doubt so that would be considered fraud and he could be deported. Well when i sent in my application I forgot to send this in but once i got my NOA1 i sent the information in with the receipt number. I sent these reasons in as well along with proof of it all from government websites. What do you think my chances are of getting approved? We are so serious about each other and love each other so much. Also any body have an fairly accurate timeline for the california service center? The website said they are processing from september 2006 but i have heard of people that filed in december have already been approved and have interview dates already.
    Any advice would be great!

Well if you already have met him one time it is ok, if not it will be complicated to proof this relationship unless you have a marriagebroker with all informations to proof your case. About California Service Center most cases that were filed in january already have the interview schedule i think it is because some new rules of imigrations that are being implemented. But dont worry about the time, we recognize it is a long way but it worths it very much.

    Good luck in your journey

      the problem

see well thats the problem we havent met because its basically impossible! I cant go there bc they wont let me in and he could come here on a visitors visa i suppose but if we got married they would consider that fraud. I dont have a marriage broker. I cant really afford one since i am a single mom....so does that mean theres no chance?
Since they have already processed most of the ones from january what does that mean since i havent heard anything yet? I mean can i pretty much assume we are going to be denied since its taking so long?

        hun...

        Asgraham,

If he could visit you, he could back for his country after of the meet and start the process. If he cant enter in your country, you can meet each other in other country.

        have a nice day

          thanks

I appreciate your advice and *sigh* i know your right. That is what we will have to do and thats probably what we should have done in the first place because now we will have to start the whole process over again if its denied! Thanks again. By the way congrats on your approval!
