Adjustment of Status for K1

I'm filing Form I-485 along with Form I-765. So, do I have to pay extra $180 for filing Form I-765? My I-94 will be expired within next 2 months, and I know that I-765 only valid as my I-94, is that right?

Is there any forms that required for biometric service (finger print) or local INS will call me for finger print after they've received Adjustment of Status?

Yes, you have to pay the $180 for the I-765, but the Employment Authorization document which you will receive a few months later will be valid for one year.

There aren't any forms. You will receive a letter, telling you when and where to go for the biometrics.

Re: Adjustment of Status for K-1 (EAD)

I realize this is six months after the post, but the new I-485 (App. for Adj. to Permanent Resident Status) can now be submitted at the same time as the I-765 (Employment Auth. Doc. request). When you submit them at the same time, you only have to pay the $1,010 for the I-485... the fee for the I-765 is waived.

This change was made only a couple months ago, so the information in the response below was (I believe) valid at the time it was posted.
