  • visa interview on june 15

    hi all,

im back!and i need your help to my questions below (neone?)

Just done with my medical exam and they kept my passport told me they will be the one who will submit it to the embassy together with the result of my med exam.

I already have an appointment on june 15 and my documents are complete except i missed that certificate of no marriage as proof i am single. my interview is on june 15 and release is june 20 sucks isnt it? anyways, i already asked for help to get this document before my interview and hopefully i wont fail. Well, just incase i fail to get this document before my interview date, here are my questions...

    1. Has anyone here experienced to proceed to their interview with incomplete documents? How long till the consular asked them to come back for another appointment? How long have you waited to get approved? I called the embassy customer service and they suggested to still proceed with my interview rather than to request for another schedule because it will take about 60-90 days to get available schedule. I'm just worried i get denied if i proceed to my interview with incomplete document. Gosh, i hope and pray not! I wanna fly to the US on june 27 so my fiance can spend his birthday the next day with me. Also, we wanna get married after a month or two i got there, depending on our wedding preparation but we want to do it very sooon like tomorrow.lol By the way, i'm from the Philippines.

    2. My fiance is a US Citizen, i wonder if he also need to provide this document, "certificate of no marriage", as proof he is single?.. if not, what other document he need to send me as evidence of his status? My fiance said it's not necessary because the USCIS took care of it to check his background and if he's signle or not we wouldn't get approved. It make sense but still i wanna make sure if he need to provide evidence of being single.

neone cares to reply, thank you very much!

    can someone help me pls

    Hello,

finally, my fiance is here now thank you to everyone who help me this experiance. we got married and we apply for I-485, I-764 and I-864 on may 2, 2007 we recieved receipt notice on may 9 2007, and may 15, 2007 ASC apppointment notice (biometrics) we have an appointment is on june 12, 2007

on june 2 , we recieved a Request for Initial Evidence (I-485) letter from USCIS saying w-2s 1099s and/or all schedules submitted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) a copy of his/her federal income tax return was submitted and/or the sponors or joint sponosor requested an EXTENTSION to file his or her federal income tax return.

i have always file 1040 u.s individual income taX return.

The part that has me very worried is the letter states : "You are ineligible for interm employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, Code of federal regulations, section 103.2(b)(10)(ii) until 90 days after the missing initil evidence is received"

The letter is for my I-485, so I am not sure how it effects my I-765. Does that mean that my EAD will not be approved until 90 days after? Or is it just my ability to request an interm EAD that is effected? I was waiting eagerly for my EAD approval to arrive in the mail any day now!! If my EAD is on hold This is very bad for me because my existing k-1 Visa
    expires on juluy 25, 2007.

    pls i need help ASAP

    THANK YOU
