hi, daytona it seems u know a lot about immigration process. i want to ask u about working permit. i've read one of ur reply and thought u could give me an answer to my question. i'm on d process of filing my adjustment of status i come to US by fiance visa. u've said n d post that once u;ve applied 4 d adjustment of status and get d greencard it gives u a permission to work. my concern is that i want to work soon as i can , if i'll apply 4 only adjustment of status by now how long it would take me to get a green card that allows me to work? i know that 2years s d conditional residency upon application of d adj of status and it means i have to wait 2years d least 2 get a greencard. do u think s d good idea to apply my I-485 along with I-765 so i can work soon coz i dont want to wait for 2years or more to get my greencard that enables me to work? and also i dont want to spend $180 for working permit fee if their's only other way to get a working permit w/out spending this much.

hi daytona, thanx a lot 4 d reliable input on my query. if it will only take couple of months to get a conditional card then i would only do d I-485 it would be a nonsense to apply 4 I-765 and spend fee for it. by d way, m from d philippines too and me n my husband lives here n bellingham, washington i know that ur wife s a filipina too. if ur n d same area with us it would be great to know u n ur wife. will keep u posted on my application. once again thanx a lot ur a big help to me.
