My husband had an interview on April 27 in San Salvador, El Salvador.
I called in May to find out the status.
The lady at the ''customer service'' 1-800 number said he was temporarily denied, 221G. She said he should have received a letter at the embassy.
He did not receive anything...if he did, he would have contacted me immediately and we would have found the ''missing'' documents. They keep telling us we are missing some documentation but that they cannot tell us which document. I called 30 days later, like they told me to, and now they have no updated info, we're ''still missing documentation''. and she tells me to call back in 3 months, August!! Our priority date, or when I started the I-130 was Jan. 2006!! Our 2, yes TWO year wedding anniversary is December 22, of this year. What do I do if we haven't heard anything by October??? I am suppose to file a CHANGE OF STATUS for him (conditional to permanent resident) 90 days before our 2 yr. anniversary. So what do I do if we haven't gotten his CR1 or heard anything?? Anyone else been here before?
