my fiance is a filipina living in the philippines and i am just now staring to investigate the whole k1 visa process. I came across the finacial support application. my question is, i make the required salary. actually over 40,000 a year and i have been employed with the same company now for 23 years. but unfortunatly, i just went through a very long divorce process and i do not have any savings accounts anylonger. i closed my accounts during the divorce proceedings and have literally exhausted the savings on lawyer fees. will this pervent me from getting my petition approved and a visa granted for my fiance? we know eachother for a little over a year now and i have been to her country twice now. can someone please clarify the financial support requirements. thank you my email address is [email protected]
