Affidavit of Support question
Hello all.
I'm currently planning on going for a K1 visa for my fiancee to come to the US. However, I'm also attending college at the moment, meaning I have a low paying part time job that doesn't come CLOSE to breaking the poverty line...
so essentially, I'm fairly certain if I filled out the Affidavit of Support it would mean basically nothing.
However, I currently live with my parents and my mother's friend at work had gotten married outside the US when she was fresh out of college and still did not have a good job, and she had her parents as the ones claim financial responsibility for bringing her husband to the US.
So my question is, is it possible to have my parents, whom I'm living with, fill out that section and claim financial responsibility for my fiancee? And if so, how would I go about doing it?
