I would appreciate if somebody could answer a couple of questions. First of all, does I-130 ever expire? I was told by USCIS that it does not.
I'm a US citizen, my wife is here on a K-3 visa. Her I-130 was approved in December 2005. But we never took any action because we didn't have a sponsor for the Affidavit of Support back then. Now I want to apply for her I-485 Adjustment of Status. My question is would I need to send a fresh I-130 with it or will the old appoved one would do? I really need your help as her K-3 visa expires in about three months. Thanks in advance.
