fiancee going bankrupt

I have recently visited my boyfiend of 2 years in UK. He is a croatian citizen legally living in United kingdom.
He is going thru a bankrupcy. Will this have an effect on our process for applying for a finacee visa?

To the original poster. Your fiance should not have a problem getting a visa. But when it comes for you to sponsor him, the two of you will need to meet the poverty guidelines.
