    Getting hard time on K1

    Dear immigration help,
    I am US citizen, my siste came to USA on K1-visa after entering to USA we came to know that person she supposed to marry is controlling man and is demanding a lot of money which we can't afford. Can I apply for her adjustment of status on family based or she has to go back? Please reply soon. Thanks.

      as bad as it is, she must go back... She can ONLY adjust status through marriage with the original K-1 sponsor.

      Even if you filed for her, as siblings, she can not AOS and her priority date takes 10+ years to become current.
