filing after 90 days of k1 visa-I'M SO WORRIED! Is it a problem??

Hi, I am a filipina and entered in the U.S with K1 visa, we got married within ninety days with my fiance. My 90 days expired last September 26, 2007 but just mailed my I-1485 adjustment of status september 28, 2007. I am so worried now, could it be a problem? My fiance insisted that 90 days is only to get married and maybe it will not be a problem even if we file after. Please let me know if anyone knew about this, I don't have peace of mind.
