hey, i´m from germany wanting to get married to an american. he doesnt have a lot of money, so i was gonna put my parents as sponsors. they live here in germany though. can i do that or do i need an american citizen? in that case how much does he need to have in order to be my sponsor?

They need to be US Citizens or US Permanent Residents (paying US taxes).

Your future husband, still will be your sponsor, even if he made $ 0.00. But you two will need a CO-sponsor. This person must make enough money to support you and his/her household according to the Poverty Guidelines (at 125%) found in the I-864P form from USCIS.
