Hi i am new to this board. I have been waiting for my citizenship for over two years and was finally approved. Does anyone know how long the K3 visa usually takes? I need to file for my husband. Also, is it better to do the K3 visa or the spousal visa?

I believe spousal visa means going through counselor processing.
Usually it takes 8-12 months but it varies from service center to service center and also, it depends on your spouse country of citizenship.
There is not significant different between period approval for K-3 and counselor processing. Sometimes K-3 visa approved 2-3 months earlier than counselor processing but it will cost you little more as you have take care of your spouse adjustment of status (I-485 and EAD, etc.) while he in US.
