Meeting on the internet,is not a problem to get a petition approved.Nowdays almost all relanshionships will originate in the web.I 've met my fiancee on the internet,and my petition was approved in just 3 months,with no problems whatsoever.But like praetorianXI tells you,you two need to meet.You must have enough evidence that the two of you have met.Photos of you two together,air plane trip tickets,receipts of places where you two may have visited or stayed while you were there.Receipts of gifts you two may have exchange with each other,telephone bills showing your daily communication,and if you have talked for a long time via e-mail,it would be a good idea to have copies of your e-mails from both of you also showing that your relanshionship is genuine.The more evidence you can send,the better the possibilities in getting approved.
With proper documentation and all this evidence,you should have no problem at all getting your petition approved.
