  • k-1 requires fingerprints?

    Dear Sir,

My fiancé arrived and we are getting married on March 28, 2007. I am then filing for a permanent residence status and am trying my best to read all the docs. Perfect to make sure I don’t make a mistake. I would like to know if she needs fingerprints on this application?. I have her fiancé visa and I don’t know she if she has to be fingerprinted. I also am filing for a travel visa or parole visa and want to know if I can file the applications at the same time. I would like to talk to a real person on the phone and can’t seem to find where I can do this. Please help me if you can. I have general questions and I am not that good on a computer to know what to do.

    Sincerely

You must married within 90-days of arrival in US and must file adjustment of status within that period. Otherwise your fiance (e) technically out of status.
Search online for immigration attorney around your area.

Fingerprinting will come after you file application of adjustment for your spouse. USCIS will instruct you about how to proceed for biometrics. Yes, you can file advance parole together with other forms (K-1 visa is good for only one entry to US).
Do not worry no-body good in computer even software person can not change the fact that you can not save any file name “con“ (it is reserved for “control panel” but why?).
