    Hello everyone

I have such a miserable experience with immigration department, I came to the US on immigration visa K3, i was married to US citizen sep 2005, i have entered the usa on may 29 2007 , i have applied for adjustment status through a lawyer in chicago, i have recieved by mail a notice of action for both cases which are I-485 and I-765 later i got a ASC appointment notice on Aug 20 2007. my appointment was on sept 19 2007 i went to the immigration office dep in chicago so they took my singature , photo, and fingerprints and since that date i didnt recieve anything by mail and everytime i go to check my case status i find it still pending since the date they have recieved my case which is Aug 15, i can check my I765 case but i cant check my I485 case number it looks invaild altho i still keeping the reciept number , my Q is how long i should wait after the date that they have recievd my I765 or should i count from the date that i went for fingerprints ? my other Question is i have a number which starts with A# on ASC appointment notice and also there are both of cases numbers have written on that notice.
any info or help will be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

You may get EAD card in 3-months followed by GC within 6-months (it is standard wait time). Delay due to current back-log.
