K1 Visa Approval - Any Dates?

I filed an application for the K1 on 25th June 07 and am still waiting on an approval. Can someone help with giving me an insight on the current approvals. ROugh estimates/dates and months. It will at least give me an idea on how far my application is from being approved.

With the large amount of people applying for the K-1 Visa,nowdays,is not easy to say.Mine only took 3 months to get approved,but I have herd of many cases taking 6 months or longer.Also the place where you live and the place where your fiance or fiancee resides,sometimes has to do with the processing times being more or less.
You can also keep track of processing times online.As a rule of thumb,I would say that as long as your paper work is in order and USCIS don't ask for more info,or evidence,you should expect an answer within 6 months or maybe less.

Filed on 06/05 and got approved on 11/02, but received the I-797 on 11/08. Good luck to you.

Hi. We filed at the end of May and were approved about five months later. I am in the UK and the Service Centre was Vermont. Some Service Centres are quicker than others.

At the time, my attorney told me that it would take between 3-4 months to approve the petition. However, things have changed substantially since then. First, there was a huge influx of applications due to the fee increases. Then, as Vermont was great at what they did, files from many other states were transferred to them. This is what is causing the backlog. The current processing time for petition approval is 6 months. It's difficult and emotional. But my attorney told me we just have to wait; be patient. We thought we would be together by Christmas, but it looks like that is not going to happen. So happy I found this website, as I find comfort in knowing there are others out there feeling the same way. I dream every minute of the day when we are united forever. Good luck, everyone.

I know exactly how you feel.I have had wedding plans for around Christmas time too and I have been waiting for a decision since my fiancee's interview on Oct.3rd. 7 weeks later and still no answer and no decision has been made.
This stuff is enough to drive anyone insane.

But I hope your petition is approved soon.We just have to stick together,wait patiently(something not easy to do) and just hope for the best.

My application was filed with the VSC on 6-25-07 and I received the approval on 11-21-07 for a total processing time of 149 days.

My application was filed with the VSC on 7-24-07 and I received the approval on 11-28-07 for a total processing time of 127 days.

But now I am in la la land dunno how long will it take for her get here and what are the next steps. She is from India.
