Hawaii is 50th state of USA admitted to the Union on Aug. 21st, 1959.
You can travel within US on K-1 visa without problem. Enjoy your trip.
(Please do not post same question twice. Thanks).

My fiance is gone be on a job in Hawaii for 2 or 3 months and he would like me to come with him. We filed for a K1 but our residence is Norfolk-VA. Can i enter the US through Hawaii and get my K1 activated or do i have to pass VA first befor i can go to Hawaii? We are aslo planing to get married in Hawaii.
Thanks for the replies!

It does not matter where you enter the USA, but as soon as you do so, the K-1 90 days will be "active" and you have that much time to marry your fiance.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. WOW, that sounds great!! It means that we can get married in Hawaii (within the 90 days) and file for AOS from there right?

Thank you very much! One more question: the interview and biometrics take place after the approval which can be like months later right? We'll stay in Hawaii for only 2-3 months.

Biometrics will take place Within 1-2 months after you submit the package, so it would be best if you wait until day 89 or something.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
