am currently living in boston with my husband.I arrived in the US on a K1 visa.We are now applying for adjustment of status.How much time will that take once we start the application process?Also my family incuding my parents and 18 year old brother wants to visit the United States for a holiday and to meet us.What visa should they look at .We had prevouisly applied for a tourist visa before i was engaged to my husband but were rejcted on ground we were not told of.We had all the necessary legal documents,financial support forms and we have extensively travelled abroad so it came as a surpirise to us.What options should they look at know?Can we send a sponsorship document from here?does that help because currently only my husband is working,i am still studying here. they can support the trip on their own and they have no intention to stay back except to enjoy their holiday,how can they convey that in their aplication?We also have my husbands family here who can send in sponsorship letters for my family .Would that be valid and acceptable ?Also should they apply keeping in mind the time of intended travel?We would also like to know that should all legal documents,sponsorhip letters and financial support forms be sent with the application or do they have to be presented at the time of the interview?What is the minimum duration of a tourist visa?Would it be apropriate to consult a lawyer.thank you.hope to hear from you soon.
