urgent! help???

i got back my papers from USCIS, my application for adjustment of status, and i cant find whats missing in there or whats wrong with it. it just say that i should refer it to there website for instruction and i think i got it all. can you please help me with the requirements? i think i got it all already. is it really required for me to also file authorization to work with this form i-485? is there any fee for EAD?

USCIS should have put the reason why they returned it on a cover letter.

You do not need to file for EAD if you do not need it. There is no fee for it if you are paying $1,010 for the I-485.

Review what they sent and let me know what it says. I can not read the mind of whomever sent it back and neither can you, there must be a message there.

they attached a paper just saying go to uscis website and check for the form instruction. i mailed it in texas service center. i think thats the problem, thats suppose to be in lockbox in chicago, illinois right? could it be the problem? i cant find anything else.

That is it.

They returned it to you, instead of re-routing it themselves (which they have no obligation to do anyways).

So, mail it again, this time to the right place (Chicago Lockbox).
