K1 visa questions
Greetings,
I am a U.S. citizen that is corresponding with a filipina working in Singapore. I am planning to visit her next month. I plan to start the K1 visa process if everything goes well.
This lady has a valid work permit in Singapore for the next 18 months as a caregiver.
Will she be able to obtain her visa through the U.S. embassy in Singapore?
Will she have to go back to the Philippines at any point?
What documents if any will she need from the Phils?
She already has been in Singapore for about 6 months and has a great working relationship with the family she works for? She is a little nervous about the process because she doesnt want to lose her job, but she definitely would like to come to the U.S. if I petition her.
