  • police report from other countries lived in

ok so i have one more question
i am a us citizen and my fiance is from korea, we met and lived together in holland for three years before deciding to move to the US we applied for the I 128F in July and received the I 797 in August. The forms say that she will have to get a police report from every country lived in. while she has no criminal record anywhere, is it necessary to get the report from holland? how long will this take, and will it prolong our process even more than usual?

Yes, you have to get a police from from every country of residence (since the age of 16 years) you disclose on your G325 biographic info form unless report from a country is listed as "unobtainable" in the FAM.

      fiance visa police report dificulties

Has anyone had difficulty with delays waiting for their police report? what kinds of trouble did you go through? Does it prolong the process? How do you make sure that they apply for it from all the previous countries lived in? How did you get it. is it the US govt's obligation to ask for the police report or mine? are they going to ask for it before my interview process or after?
