  • When does USCIS cash the checks

    Hey All!
Wish you all best of luck in your processes. I have filed my I-130 and awaiting receipt to arrive. The Chicago Lockbox shows that the date my case arrived has been entered. But when i call USCIS tells me that they dont see me in their system adn neither my check is cleared at the Bank website.

Does anyone know when is the check actually cashed and processed?

    Thanks

Even if your curier/tracking number says the package was delivered. USCIS won't have any information in their system until you actually get the receipts and the checks are cashed.

It usually takes about 1 month, so be patient.

      when will checks be cashed

Thanks for your advise. Actually, i think there is a little misunderstanding. My Package was delivered 11/20/2007 and now Chicago Lockbox shows that they have entered upto 11/26/2007. So, I was assuming that my case has been entered into the system, whereas upon calling it shows no proof. In addition, my check is not cashed. That is why i was wondering that dont they cash the checks before entering into the system.

Thanks is advance for any advise or information.
